Impact of phage therapy on G. mellonella colonized with swine isolate MSG44-S01. Larvae were colonized with 102 CFU each in 10 μL via oral gavage. Phage therapy regimens were conducted using 103 PFU/larva. (A) show survival, (B) Salmonella colonization, and (C) Phage recovery at various time-points for each treatment-Control bacteria (Black), Co-infection (Green), Remedial (Red), Prophylactic (blue) and Control phage (Purple) and Prophylactic (Blue) lines/bars. Four larvae were used for treatment and timepoint. Experiment was repeated thrice and analyzed using Shapiro–Wilk normality test on R. Each phage treatment regimen was tested against MSG44-S01 control using Mann–Whitney test on GraphPad Prism 8. ns = No significance, **significance at p < 0.01.
