Model 1: unadjusted.

Model 2: adjusted for age, education, marital status, average monthly individual income, smoking status, drinking status, physical activity, waist circumference, red meat, white meat, fish, milk, vegetable intake, fruit intake, energy intake, gout, and family history of gout.

Model 3: additionally adjusted for diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and dyslipidemia.

Ptrend was performed using the quartiles of total beans intake as a continuous variable in the linear regression model.
