The FC between the medial thalamus and the right ACC and posterior cingulate cortex (PCC) was positively correlated with the VAS score changes, and the FC between the medial thalamus and the left cerebellum was negatively correlated with the VAS score changes (AlphaSim correction, note: The threshold for significant clusters was set as follows: 1,000 iterations, p < 0.05 at the cluster level combined with p < 0.05 at the voxel level, 4 estimated smooth kernels, at least 154 voxels; Figure 4).
