(A) Ligand 1 shows weak binding with only aromatic protons from 6.8 and 7.8 ppm region; (B) ligand 3 also shows binding with peaks from aromatic protons from phenyl rings indicated at 7.0–7.6 ppm range. The experiment was performed at 298 K using Bruker Avance III 700 MHz and at a molar ratio of E protein:ligands = 1:100.
