The correlation between serum GGT concentration and postoperative death events across prescribed subgroups. The negative correlation between serum GGT levels and OS did not differ significantly between groups stratified by age, sex, HBV DNA level, CA19-9 level and liver resection type (all P for interaction >0.05). However, this relationship became no longer significant if the patients were treated with postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy (P for interaction =0.04).
