Network enrichment of differentially abundant oocyte proteins. Differentially abundant proteins were analyzed for connectivity and functional enrichment using high confidence protein interactions (confidence > 0.9; line thickness indicates strength of support for protein interactions). Proteins with increased abundance in oocytes from mated (top) and unmated (bottom) females had significantly more interactions than expected. Proteins with greater abundance in oocytes from mated females were significantly enriched for ribosome biogenesis (red) and transmembrane proteins (purple) whereas proteins with greater abundance in oocytes from unmated females were significantly enriched for associations with the nucleus (yellow).
