Canstatin inhibited OGD/R-induced reactive oxygen species (ROS) production in NRCMs. NRCMs were stimulated with OGD/R (see the protocols described in Figure 3). Control cells were cultured in the reperfusion medium under normoxic condition (Cont). PBS (Cont, OGD/R) or canstatin (+canstatin: 250 ng/mL) was treated throughout the OGD/R stimulation. The cells were treated with 2′,7′-dichlorodihydrofluorescein diacetate (DCF-DA; 10 µM) for 30 min to detect intracellular ROS production.
