Mice were infected with 500 trypomastigotes of T. cruzi and followed up daily for up to 53 days post-infection. Percentages of survival were analyzed using Log-rank (Mantel-Cox) test comparing treated groups vs infected untreated group and statistical differences were considered when P values * P ≤ 0.05, ** P ≤ 0.005.
