Based on recent recommendations of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE), small bowel surveillance is recommended from the age of 8 years in asymptomatic individuals with PJS. A 1–3 yearly interval is recommended based on phenotype for small-bowel surveillance. Either MRI studies or video capsule enteroscopy is recommended for small-bowel surveillance.
