Bushen Huoxue Acupuncture improved cognitive deficits and decreased Aβ level in AD mice. After the completion of Bushen Huoxue Acupuncture treatment, (A) MWM test was performed to evaluate cognitive function. The escape latency, the time spent in the target quadrant and the number of crossing the original platform were recorded. (B) Levels of Aβ_1-40 and Aβ_1-42 in homogenates from hippocampus were measured using ELISA. N = 10 in each group. **P < 0.01 vs control group; ^#P < 0.05, and ^##P < 0.01 vs nonacupuncture group.
