PCA and LFA specific for Y. pestis were performed in parallel under field condition wearing heavy Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Results were obtained within 20 minutes for both tests. (A) PCA: negative controls (black), sample (red) (B) LFA: test was valid as indicated by the control line but was negative for Y. pestis.
