The proposed data-subdivision and unification method has shown a positive trend in improving the performance of spike sorting algorithms. The improvement in reducing computational time is significantly high, while due to maturity of spike of sorting algorithms, accuracy improvement is relatively lower in some of spike sorting algorithms. The average results for 10 repetitive analysis has been presented and it is worth noting that proposed mechanism has shown promising improvement results around all data types and spike sorting algorithms.
