Differentially expressed genes. After TCM treatment, 8 genes were differentially expressed in the peripheral blood of patients compared with those at baseline. TLR5, IL1RN, and SLC8A1 were upregulated in sciatica patients at baseline compared with healthy controls and were then downregulated in sciatica patients after TCM treatment compared with baseline.
