Critical Elements of Communities of Practice (CoP)

Element	Definition
Practice	Members share experiences, tools, and ways of responding to similar issues that inform the way they practice.
Community	Members of a community engage in shared discussion and activities, share information, learn from/with each other, assist one another, and build relationships.
Domain	The area of shared interest to which members are committed and have competence. This element helps provide identity and meaning.
