Protection against Aβ42 toxicity in cerebellar granule cells. The CGCs were treated with vehicle (control) or with Aβ42, with or without the tested compounds, for 48 h. Cell viability was measured by MTT reduction test and expressed as loss of viability in comparison with vehicle-treated controls. Values have been obtained from at least three experiments. Compound + Aβ vs Aβ: *p < 0.01, **p < 0.02, ***p < 0.05.
