Figure 1. Polyinosinic-polycytidylic acid (PolyIC) induced retinoic acid-inducible gene-I (RIG-I) expression on cultured human podocytes. Quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) (A, B) and western blot (C, D) analysis showed an increased expression of RIG-I after polyIC treatment. 500 ng/ml polyIC up-regulated mRNA of RIG-I (A) and 500 μg/ml PolyIC induced protein of RIG-I (C) in time dependent manner. Similarly, polyIC induced mRNA (B) and protein (D) of RIG-I in dose dependent manner. GAPDH was used as an internal control.
