Saline was used as a control. Tissue samples were collected at G12.5 from fed dams. bPL injection significantly increased blood insulin concentrations (A), β-cell areas (C), and percentage of Ki67-positive β-cells (D and E) (white scale bar, 50 μm) in Adipoq^−/− dams.
