(B) Binding affinities of the promoter region of prpR for RegX3 and PrpR. The interactions of recombinant His-RegX3 and His-PrpR with the prpR (encoding MCS) were determined using the Octet Macromolecular Interaction Platform. The KD value of RegX3 and PrpR was 165 and 53.2 nM, respectively, which demonstrates that the PrpR has a stronger binding capacity than RegX3.
