The Y589D mutant CckA protein retains kinase activity but lacks c-di-GMP-stimulated phosphatase activity. Samples were removed at the times indicated (in minutes), with the addition of c-di-GMP alone after 15 min (A) or ADP plus c-di-GMP after 60 min (B).
