The effects of quercetin combined with cisplatin on the cell proliferation in cervical cancer cells. HeLa (A) and SiHa (B) cells were treated with control (complete culture medium), quercetin (15 μM for HeLa and 30 μM for SiHa), cisplatin (10 μM for HeLa and 12 μM for SiHa) or the co-treatment of quercetin and cisplatin. The ratios of cell proliferation were assessed by BrdU assay. The bars represent the ratios of cell proliferation in each group. Data of HeLa (C) and SiHa (D) are expressed as means ± SD deviation of three independent experiments. *P < 0.05 vs control group, #P < 0.05 vs cisplatin group.
