Endocannabinoids decrease food intake in flies. Pre-treatment with AEA (A) and 2-AG (B) led to significant reductions in food consumption on day 1, with a weak effect of AEA on day 2 (n = 12–27). More profound effects of 2-LG (C) and AA (D) were detected. The food intake by the flies was significantly decreased with 0.1 mg/ml 2-LG (C) and AA (D) on both day 1 and day 2 (n = 16–18).
