Combined Endotrap HD and Triton X-114 purification. Endotrap HD resin was incubated for 2 h with HFn (10 mg/mL; 1:1 (v/v) ratio) and eluted using an empty column, as described for batch mode in Figure 2a. The resulting HFn has been supplemented with 1% Triton X-114 and treated for 4 cycles of purification (a). HFn recovery was calculated by absorbance reading (b), while ETX levels have been obtained by LAL test (c,d). Results are reported as average ± S. D. of 6 independent experiments.
