Progression-free survival (PFS) |
the length of time during/after the treatment of a disease, that a patient life with the disease without it getting worse |
Overall survival (OS) |
the length of time from either the date of diagnosis or the start of the treatment of a disease that a patient with the disease is still alive |
Response |
an improvement related to a treatment |
Complete response (CR) |
the disappearance of all signs of cancer in response to a treatment |
Partial response (PR) |
a decrease in the size of a tumor, or in the extent of cancer in the body, in response to a treatment |
Stable disease (SD) |
cancer that is neither decreasing nor increasing in extent or severity |
Progressive disease (PD) |
cancer that is growing, spreading, or getting worse |
Recommended phase II dose (RP2D) |
usually the highest dose with acceptable toxicity, used in subsequent clinical trials. |
