Involvement of MasR in the antioxidant effect of VRP, LKY, VRY, and V-F in Ang II-stimulated VSMCs. Peptides (50 μM) were incubated with cells for (A) 1 h with 1 μM MasR antagonist (A779) or (B) 24 h followed by adding 1 μM A779 for 1 h, before the addition of Ang II (1 μM) for 30 min.
