On the first visit (a–d), there were malar rash-like erythematous plaques with sparing of the nasolabial fold areas, mimicking the butterfly rash as seen in systemic lupus erythematosus on his cheeks, accompanied by comedones, papules, and pustules. Atrophic and hypertrophic scars were also noted. On the second visit (e–h), mild improvement was seen.
