Logistic regression analysis: model 1 was adjusted for age, sex, PC1–10, obesity, hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and CAD. Model 2 included the same covariates as model 1 with additional adjustment for BMI, education, and smoking.
Conditional logistic regression analysis: model 1 was only adjusted for PC1–10 and did not include any of the matching variables (age, sex, obesity, hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and CAD). Model 2 was adjusted for PC1–10, BMI, education, and smoking.
