Lung, liver, and spleen samples were collected from guinea pigs (n = 4/group) during post-challenge necropsy (D12). Tissue sections were stained with a LASV RNA-specific probe. Representative fields of view for each tissue collected from the prime-boost (a, d, g), prime (b, e, h), and control groups (c, f, i) were taken at ×100 magnification. The scale bar represents 50 µm. Positive-strand RNA, indicative of virus replication, is visible as brown staining.
