The λ values show that the gene turnover rate of TSGs in cetaceans is almost 2.4 times faster than for other placental mammals. (b) In the second model, the λ values represent the rate of evolution for the total group of baleen whales (green), the total group of toothed whales (light blue) and for the ancestor of all cetaceans (orange).
