EGCG exhibits an anti-viral effect on PEDV infection in Vero cells. Cells were pre-treated with different concentrations of EGCG for 1 h before being infected with PEDV HLJBY (0.1 MOI) and were then treated with different concentrations of EGCG for 24 h. Intact cells and supernatants were collected at 24 h.p.i. (A) PEDV N and actin proteins were detected by western blotting. (B) Viral titers were determined using a plaque formation assay.
