Relationship between skin lightness and urinary biomarkers of oxidative stress. Urinary levels of oxidative stress biomarkers at baseline were quantified by LC-MS/MS. A significant positive correlation was found between skin lightness L* and (a) 8-oxodG (r = 0.372, P = 0.002), and (b) 8-oxoGuo (r = 0.386, P = 0.002).
