Huaier extract inhibited AR-FL and AR-V7 mRNA levels via targeting SMYD3 signaling. The mRNA levels of SMYD3 were measured by RT-qPCR in LNCaP and 22Rv1 time-(A) or dose-(B) dependently treated with huaier extract. The AR-FL and AR-V7 transcription (C) and expression (D) were analyzed by RT-qPCR and western blot in 22Rv1 cells transfected with SMYD3 small interfering RNAs (siRNAs), control siRNA, pc-vector, or pc-SMYD3 vector respectively.
