Matrix protein and integrin differences between subcutaneous adipose tissue from WT and KO mice. (A) In addition to the expected absence of laminin α4 in the adipose ECM, there was a significant decrease in laminin gamma 1 (LAMC1). (B) When evaluating proteins involved in cell binding and integrin signaling, integrins α7 (ITA7) and β1 (ITB1) were dramatically reduced in the subcutaneous adipose from KO mice. (C) Both collagen 1A1 (CO1A1) and collagen 3A1 (CO3A1) were significantly lower in subcutaneous adipose tissue from KO mice. n = 3 biological samples with 3 technical replicates.
