HHT inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma cell proliferation and colony formation. (A, B) HepG2 and Huh7 cells were seeded into 96-well plates with 3,000 cells per well, and treated with HHT (0–400 nM) for 24, 48, and 72 h. Cell viability was detected using CCK-8 assay according to the manufacture’s introduction. (C) HepG2 and Huh7 cells were seeded into 6-well plates with 1,000 cells per well, and treated with HHT (0 and 50 nM) for 14 days. The colonies were stained with crystal violet and photographed under a Leica DMI4000 microscope.
