Building procedure for the proposed risk stratification algorithms. The following features were finally selected for model building: age, gender, length of stay in intensive care unit (ICU) (los_icu), weight, height, body mass index (BMI), diabetes, heart-related diseases, lung-related diseases, no comorbidity, has two diseases, more than three diseases, hypertension, Simplified Acute Physiology Score II (SAPS II).
