| Bradycardia | Do not place dressing in proximity to the vagus nerve |
| Periwound tissue protection | Protect fragile/friable periwound skin with additional drape, thin hydrocolloid or other transparent film |
| Repetitively applying and removing drapes may lead to stripping of periwound skin | |
| Do not allow foam to overlap onto intact skin | |
| Temperature | Closely monitor and maintain temperature |
