Th12 vertebral bone metastasis can be seen in the bone window (c). Haematoxylin–eosin staining (d) shows a solid predominant histological type of adenocarcinoma. The results of immunohistochemistry (IHC) the tumour was positive (e); the ARMS method (f) identified EGFR mutations in exons 19 and 20 in the tumour.
