Polygonum cuspidatum extraction inhibited H₂O₂-induced MUC5AC expression. ASM cells were treated with H₂O₂ (80 μM) and Polygonum cuspidatum extraction (1 mg/mL and 2 mg/mL) at different concentrations alone or in combination for 24h. The expression levels of MUC5AC were analyzed by Real-time PCR. The data were expressed as mean ± SD (n=3) of each group. ** P<0.01 vs H₂O₂ group, ^# P<0.01vs control group.
