Figure 4

Occurrence of bacterial wilt on seedling of two pepper cultivars according to inoculum concentration. Three weeks after transplanting, the eight-leaf stage seedlings were inoculated with R. solanacearum SL1931 with bacterial suspensions (1 × 10 3, 1 × 10 4, 1 × 10 5, and 1 × 10 6 CFU/mL) to give inoculum volume of 0.1 mL/leaf. Disease severity of the plants was investigated every day after inoculation. Green and orange lines indicate ‘Subicho’ and ‘MC4′, respectively. Each bar represents the S.E from three independent experiment with 24 plants. Values in the labeled with the same letter within each inoculum concentration are not significantly different in Duncan’s multiple range test at p = 0.05.
