SS-31 treatment induced both short- and long-term functional connectivity (FC) changes in the aged rat brain. (A) SS-31 treatment caused FC changes in 3 days. Data were analyzed by one-way ANOVA followed by the post-hoc two-sample t-test. A voxel-level height threshold of p < 0.001 and a cluster-extent threshold of 20 were considered as statistically significant. Both the left and right hippocampus were used as seed voxels.
