Effect of HPV-2 E7 transfection on the expressions of interferon-stimulated genes. HaCaT cells were transfected with empty vector, E7, E7 specific siRNA, and negative control siRNA (siCon). After transfection, mRNA expression levels of ISG15 (A), OAS1 (B), and MxA (C) were analyzed by RT-qPCR. The relative mRNA levels were normalized against levels of GAPDH. (D) Protein expression levels of ISG15, OAS1, and MxA were evaluated by western blot. The histogram shows quantitative representation of the protein levels of ISG15, OAS1, and MxA obtained from a densitometric analysis. β-actin served as a loading control for protein normalization.
