Incidence of GI bleeding according to subgroup. Diabetes=self-report of diabetes mellitus or fasting glucose ≥126 mg/dL (≥7 mmol/L) or on treatment for diabetes. Hypertension=systolic blood pressure ≥140 mm Hg or diastolic blood pressure ≥90 mm Hg or on treatment for high blood pressure. Chronic kidney disease (CKD)=estimated glomerular filtration rate < 60 mL/min/1.73 m2 or albumin-to-creatinine ratio ≥3 mg/mmol.
