Mycotoxin concentrations were measured by liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry at the North Dakota State University Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (Fargo, ND, USA).

DDGS, dried distillers grains with solubles.

1)

MT diets have 1.9 mg/kg of deoxynivalenol supplemented from mycotoxin contaminated corn DDGS.

2)

MegaFix (ICC, São Paulo, Brazil) was added to MT at 0.2% in all phases to create another treatment, MT+D.

3)

Week 5 lasted 6 days to facilitate the sampling schedule.

4)

CON, control diet formulated with corn DDGS with minimal mycotoxin contamination; MT, diet formulated with corn DDGS with supplemental 5 mg/kg of deoxynivalenol contamination.

5)

Non-detected mycotoxins had practical quantitation limits reported.
