Effect of CAP1 silencing on breast cancer cell proliferation in the presence or absence of adipocyte secretome stimulation under normal and obese-like metabolic conditions in ER-positive T47D cells and ER-negative MDA-MB-231 cells. Three days after CAP1 knockdown, CAP1 silenced or control cells were re-seeded for proliferation experiments, after 24 h the medium was changed to adipocyte secretome or control medium, and proliferation assessed following 72 h exposure.
