A 70-year-old woman received an interlaminar ESI. A 22-ga spinal needle was advanced into the posterior epidural space through the interlaminar space with intermittent injection of contrast agent until the contrast agent smoothly spread into the lumbar epidural space on anterior-posterior view (A) and lateral view (B). Then, a mixture of triamcinolone acetonide (Tamceton) and bupivacaine hydrochloride (Marcaine Spinal 0.5% Heavy) was injected into the epidural space.
