The difference between the groups was calculated using regression analysis adjusting for age, disease duration, and change of treatment status during the 5-year follow-up. The absolute volume changes are presented in milliliters. Variables with skewed distributions (% change in globus pallidus and % change in amygdala) were transformed using Box-Cox transformations.
