Dose-dependent inhibitory effects of PTX, BEZ235, NE-PTX, and their combinations on HT29DDP and HCT116-LOHP growth measured by CCK8 assay. (A) CCK8 assay results in HT29DDP and HCT116-LOHP cells treated with PTX at various concentrations. (B) CCK8 assay results in both cell lines treated with BEZ235 at different concentrations. (C) Different concentrations of PTX combined with 50nM-BEZ355 improved sensitivity of both cell lines to the treatment. (D) NE-PTX showed the improved inhibitory effects in both cell lines. (E) NE-PTX combined with BEZ235 (NE-PTX + BEZ235) synergistically inhibit the growth of both cell lines. (F) The control of NE; no obvious toxic effects were observed in the two cell lines at the dose lower than 150 nM.
