Differential diagnosis of the five types of pleural effusion by decision-tree analysis. The combination of ADA, S-Alb, S-LDH, TP, PF-LDH/ADA, and PF-LDH/TP provided the best predictive capacity, with an overall accuracy of 84.8% (95/112).
