Table 3.

Regression results for within-person slopes of multimodal negative and positive responses to trauma-related content predicting posttreatment outcomes (internalizing, externalizing, and PTSD symptoms), controlling for baseline symptoms.

Note. CBCL = Child Behavior Checklist. UPID = UCLA PTSD Reaction Index for DSM-IV. Multimodal Negative Responses is a composite variable representing the number of domains of pathological trauma responses (cognitive, emotional, behavioral, physiological) activated at a moderate to high level (≥ 2 on the 0–3 CHANGE scale) in response to trauma-related content during the trauma processing phase of trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). Multimodal Positive Responses is a composite variable representing the number of domains of adaptive trauma responses activated at the same threshold.
