PKD2 mRNA expression is upregulated and PKD1 mRNA expression is downregulated in urothelial bladder cancer tissues. a PKD1 mRNA expression was analyzed using the bladder cancer datasets from two independent clinical studies by Blaveri et al. [52] and Sanchez-Carbayo et al. [51], as described in “Materials and methods”. The mRNA expression levels of PKD1 are significantly decreased in the bladder tumor samples of both studies.
