MYC transformed cells are more sensitive to isopropyl 6-diazo-5-oxo-2-(((phenyl (pivaloyloxy) methoxy) - carbonyl) amino) hexanoate (JHU395). JHU395 inhibited the growth of neural stem cells transduced with MYC and R248W p53 (high MYC cells) to a greater extent than neural stem cells transduced with BMI1 and R248W p53 (low MYC cells). The IC50 of JHU395 was 0.5 µM for high MYC cells as compared with 35 µM for low MYC cells.
